Gen Z and the Great Resignation

Written by Jennifer

Data science is an interdisciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from data in various forms, both structured and unstructured.

Data science is a relatively new field, and as such, it is constantly evolving. In recent years, there have been a number of trends that have emerged within the field of data science.

Here are five of the most notable trends.

Big Data

The term “big data” refers to data sets that are so large and complex that traditional data processing techniques are inadequate. Big data requires new techniques and technologies in order to be processed and analyzed effectively.

Data Mining

Data mining is a process of extracting valuable information from large data sets. It involves the use of sophisticated algorithms and statistical techniques in order to discover hidden patterns and trends.

Predictive Analytics

Predictive analytics is a type of data analysis that uses historical data to make predictions about future events. It is often used in marketing and fraud detection.

Machine Learning

Machine learning is a type of artificial intelligence that allows computers to learn from data without being explicitly programmed. It is a powerful tool for making predictions and detecting patterns.

Deep Learning

Deep learning is a type of machine learning that uses neural networks to learn from data. It is capable of learning complex patterns and making predictions.

As you can see, the field of Data Science continues to evolve in 2022. Personally, I’d like to see more emphasis on using data science for privacy protection. This may be where Blockchain finds its best use case. Stay tuned for our next post where we will cover the use of Blockchain in the data space.
